7 Autumn Untact Tourist Attractions

There are seven spots in Incheon where you can properly see the colors of autumn, not only maple trees, but also fields of East Asian seepweeds that spreads out and gives off red and golden wave colors.

In Sorae Ecology Park, the East Asian seepweeds mix well with the red windmills. You can see a variety of autumn flowers in the Sudokwon Landfill Site Wildflower Complex Dream Park. There are different types of cosmos that bloom and yellow ginkgo groves at the Gyeyang Flower Maru Park. Or you can wander around Wonjeoksan Park Gingko Forest, Ganghwa Jeondeungsa Temple surrounded by autumn leaves and ginkgo trees. The field of East Asian seepweed on Seokmodo Island, and the field of Reeds on Deokjeokdo Island, the two largest fields of reeds in the western sea, are also recommended for visitors.
Sorae Ecology Park
Sorae Wetland Ecological Park is a salt marsh formed in the area where Jangsucheon and Mansucheon meet. It is a special space where you can get a glimpse of the land and marine ecosystems. The red windmill is a photo zone that gives off an exotic vibe. During autumn, many people visit the park because it's full of silver grass and on top of the mudflat is a field of red East Asian seepweed that can be seen within the city center.

Sudokwon Landfill Site Wildflower Complex Dream Park
The Sudokwon Landfill Site Wildflower Complex Dream Park has been transformed into a space of coexistence by recreating the existing landfill site into the largest wild flower complex in the country. In autumn, you can find colorful crepe myrtle, cosmos, silver grass, and pink muhly in full bloom.

Gyeyang Flower Maru Park
Gyeyang Flower Maru is a flower garden built near Gyeyang Stadium, close to the city center, and is known to many as a place to take memorable pictures. In spring, yellow rape fields spread out, and in autumn, yellow and pink cosmos fill the entire fields, and pink muhly in various places adds to the autumn scenery.
Wonjeoksan Park Ginkgo Forest
Wonjeoksan Park, located in Bupyeong-gu, is connected to the Wonjeoksan Mountain Trail, so it is easy to climb. In addition, there are various sports facilities as well as walking trails, so many people come to exercise. The forest is full of large ginkgo trees in autumn, and the yellow leaves pile up among the ginkgo trees, making it enjoyable to walk on the falling leaves.
Ganghwa Jeondeungsa Temple
Ganghwa Jeondeungsa Temple is the oldest existing temple in Korea and the largest temple in Ganghwa. The temple harmonizes with the mountains and gives a different feeling per season. In recent years, it has been selected as a unique venue and wellness tourist destination in Korea. It also operates as a temple stay, so you can rest and relax here. You can feel the autumn vibes because the autumn leaves and ginkgo trees are at their peak during this season.

Field of Chilmyeoncho on Seokmodo Island
Since the opening of the Seokmo Bridge in 2017, Seokmodo Island has become a great place for driving trips. In autumn, when you get in the middle of the road to Minmeoru Beach, you can see the field of Chilmyeoncho(East Asian seepweed). Since the East Asian seepweed is an annual plant, it only blooms in autumn and then disappears, so don't miss this moment.
Field of Reeds on Deokjeokdo Island
Deokjeokdo Island is a representative island in Incheon which is 1 hour boat ride from the Yeonan pier. Famous for backpacking, you can climb on top of Bijobong Peak and look at the blue sea surrounding the island. In autumn, you can see the largest golden reed fields in the West Sea, along with the sparkling waves on Neungdong Jagal madang.
