There are restaurants in Incheon that have been running for over 50 years, that they are now considered part of Incheon’s history. We would like to introduce noodle based restaurants that has been loved for a long time and shared the lives and sorrows of our citizens.
Gyeongin Myeonok
Gyeongin-myeonok, which was relocated to Sinpo-dong in 1946, initially started with basic menu items such as dumpling soup, rib soup, and bibimbap. Then, Pyeongyang naengmyeon was added to the menu, and it became so popular that the restaurant has been known as Pyeongyang Naengmyeong specialty restaurant for over 70 years. The Pyeongyang naengmyeon is only flavored with basic ingredients, continuing the traditional recipe. The first taste is a little bland, but the more you eat it, the deeper it tastes.

Sinsinok
Park Gwan-ok and Yoo Seung-cheon, displaced people from Shincheon, Hwanghae-do, started their tempura udon restaurant in 1958 at the Sinpo International Market. It was a place that received constant love, but in the mid-1980s, the store was temporarily suspended due to the health problems of the boss, but in 2001, his son started running this place for the second time with the SinSinok sign. Bringing back a family recipe with chewy noodles, tempura powder, and fried udon noodles with chili powder on top, a simple yet warming dish that many people enjoy and seek.

Ganghwa Guksu
Ganghwa Guksu, with a history of over 60 years since its first opening in the 1950s, is one of the oldest noodle restaurants on Ganghwa Island. It was a favorite place for bus passengers traveling between Incheon and Ganghwa while waiting for their departure time. Thanks to their long thin noodles and bibim noodles with sweet and sour sauce, there is an ever-increasing number of regulars.
