Exploring Islands -Seokmodo-

It is fun to travel around the city, especially exploring nature in every corner of the Incheon islands. Among the numerous islands in Incheon, we recommend exploring Seokmodo.
Seokmodo Baram-gil

Seokmodo Baram-gil, one of the Ganghwa Nadeul-gil courses, is a long trekking course along the sea. If you go along the Dukbang-gil, you will find a tidal flat, where you can rest or take pictures. Let's feel the relaxing Seokmodo Island walking along the quiet embankment road against the sea breeze.

Bomunsa Temple is a Silla period temple located on Nakgasan Mountain on Seokmodo Island. It is one of the three largest residences of Bodhisattva of Compassion in Korea (a place where people pray for the Gwaneum Bodhisattva). When you climb the short and steep mountain from the entrance, you can see the temple’s Geukrakbojeon in the center.
