The Incheon Open Port has been remarkably well kept, with exhibition halls and open port streets retaining modern historical-cultural treasures 100 years ago. If you walk along the alley of the opening port, you will feel as if you were at the port in Incheon at the time of the opening.
Incheon Open Port Museum
It introduces the history of Incheon Port opening and offers a glimpse of modern Incheon after the opening of the port through various aspects of modern culture. In the museum, you can see the modern civilizations, the history of the Gyeongin Railway, the Incheon landscape during the opening period, and the transition bureau and financial institutions of Incheon. Although it is not large, you can also see the appearance of Incheon port from the exterior of the museum.

The Incheon Open Port Modern Architecture Exhibition Hall is a typical Japanese-style modern building built during the opening period and retains traces of more than a hundred years of history. The exhibition hall was originally built in 1890 as the 18th Bank of Japan's Incheon branch, headquartered in Nagasaki, Japan. It is a single-story building with a typical Japanese-style roof, as well as vaults and entrances from its previous structure as a bank. Currently, it is used as a place to curate the appearance of Incheon during its opening period, existing modern buildings, and models of lost modern buildings.

Daebul Hotel Exhibition Hall / Jung-gu Life History Exhibition Hall
Daebul Hotel is the first Western-style hotel in Korea, established in 1888 by Japanese shipping company Rikitaro Hori at the Incheon port. Before the Gyeongin Line was laid, it took 12 hours to travel from Incheon to Seoul by horse carriage, or an hour at the earliest if you took a boat to Yongsan. As the result, the hotel was built for individuals who needed to remain in Incheon for a single day. The Daebul Hotel exhibition hall has been rebuilt after 134 years. The history, the evolution of the Daebul Hotel, and its rooms' interior are displayed in a contemporary style. They also offer clothes rental services allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the old local vibe.
