The Sochang Experience Center was remodeled in 2016 from an old hanok dyeing factory, ‘Pyeonghwa Jikmulteo’, which was built in 1938. Hanji Saenggak LeeDak(Korean crafts)

Hanji Saenggak operates a daily experience of making craftworks using Hanji, such as lighting, jewelry boxes, and hand mirrors. Hanji is a paper manufactured in the traditional way of Joseon by using mulberry trees, and the quality of paper is so good that it was used to restore the works of Leonardo da Vinci in Italy. In addition to the craft work experience at the cafe, you can also see various handicrafts such as Hanji blankets, Hanji socks, and Hanji wallets at the gallery.
