Museum trip by Incheon subway line 1

Incheon Children Science Museum

This is the first children's science museum in Korea where children can use their five senses to discover the scientific principles hidden in everyday life while also having fun and developing their interest in the subject. The exhibition hall is composed of sectors such as the natural environment, human body, earth, and future cities. There are time and age limits so you can ensure your children’s safety. In addition, children can experience jobs such as announcers, chefs, firefighters, and architects, allowing them to dream of a variety of careers. It has a reservation system, and hours of use is limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes for each session.

Bupyeong History Museum

It is a place where you can see the history and culture of Bupyeong at a glance. Items showing those days from Bupyeong during the Joseon Dynasty to the Japanese colonial period, the Korean War, and the Export Corporation in the 1960s and 1970s are on display. The traditional thatched house in the outdoor park of the museum is also a must-see place. It shows the housing lifestyle of the Bupyeong area during the Joseon Dynasty.

Incheon Metropolitan City Museum & Memorial Hall for Incheon Landing Operation

It is the first public museum in Korea, and consists of history rooms 1 and 2 that display major relics including relics of Incheon from prehistoric times to modern times. It also consists of an art room where you can see the history of Korean ceramics at a glance, and a calligraphy room where paintings and calligraphy works are displayed.

The indoor exhibition displays weapons, military uniforms used during the war, and stories of General MacArthur, while the outdoor exhibition displays large equipment such as fighter jets, tanks and machine guns used at the time, stimulating visitors' curiosity.

Incheon Urban History Museum

It is a place that shows the present and future of Incheon since its opening in 1883. There are photos of the old days of Incheon, money, and topographic maps, and through these, you can see the city's change at once. In particular, the miniature hall on the first floor has miniature models of old buildings in Incheon such as Incheon Post Office, Chosun Bank, and Incheon public hall to enhance the fun of viewing. This is a place where adults recall memories of their old town, and children are interested in the city they live in.
