South Korean professional baseball is at its peak, surpassing 10 million spectators for the first time in its 42-year history. Naturally, various aspects of the baseball experience, such as cheering culture, merchandise, and food and beverage options, have also flourished. If you're a baseball novice looking to join the excitement, here are some tips for enjoying SSG Landers Field. Not only is the stadium conveniently located near Seoul, but it also offers plenty of nearby attractions to make your outing even more enjoyable.
A Meadow in the Heart of the City, Neulsolgil Park Sheep Farm
Incheon Nonhyeon Station area is a bustling residential district filled with apartments and shops, but just a 10-minute walk from the station takes you to a completely different world. Neulsolgil Park, a popular urban getaway, offers a serene escape with themed walking paths featuring Rose Garden, Reservoir, Metasequoia Forest, and Wind Park, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing stroll.
On one side of the park lies a charming sheep farm, one of its most beloved attractions. The sheep charm visitors with their fluffy fur, tiny feet, bright eyes, and cute bleating sounds. Encountering a flock of sheep in the middle of the city, surrounded by apartments and buildings, is an unforgettable experience for both children and adults. The fun is even greater when you get to see them up close, just as you would in a countryside meadow.
There weren’t always this many sheep here. In 2014, the Incheon City Government introduced seven sheep to help maintain the natural grass. As public interest grew, so did their numbers, and now the park is home to 30 sheep, who have become the beloved mascots of Neulsolgil Park. Visitors can even experience feeding them, and with free admission, this makes for a perfect budget-friendly outing.

A Historic Hospital Turned Trendy Café, Brown Hands Gaehang-ro
Standing out with its striking yellow facade amidst the old buildings of harbor street, Brown Hands Gaehang-ro is a landmark that catches the eye even from afar.
The true charm of Brown Hands Gaehang-ro lies behind its iron gate. It’s filled with unexpected elements you wouldn’t typically find in a café: a hospital reception desk, medical books behind the desk, and benches adorned with pharmaceutical company logos. As you might guess, the space is a remodeled building that once served as an ENT clinic from the 1960s to the early 2000s. Rather than merely decorating with vintage items for aesthetic purposes, it genuinely preserves its authentic history.
The signature drink here is the Brown Hands Latte. A blend of oat milk, espresso, and brown sugar at the bottom of the cup creates a deliciously nutty and sweet flavor when mixed. Paired with their freshly baked financiers and levain cookies, made daily, it is the perfect way to refuel with some sweetness before heading to the stadium for an exciting game.

The park also offers a variety of experience programs, ensuring that it remains a popular spot even in the coldest seasons.
You can enjoy a variety of experiences at the facilities scattered throughout the park, such as woodworking classes where you can create household items or furniture, as well as tours of the Environmental Future Hall and the Sorae Marsh Ecological Park exhibition hall. There’s also a forest healing program, where you can walk barefoot along the stream and learn about trees, plants, and flowers, offering a fun and educational experience tailored to your interests.
If you want to explore the spacious park comfortably, you can rent a bike from the rental shop. You can rent a single or multi-person bike by providing your ID or passport as a deposit. A single bike costs 2,000 won an hour and a multi-seater costs 10,000 won, with an additional fee for every 10 minutes.

A Magical Night of Lights, Subong Park
If you need to unwind after the game, head to Subong Park for a peaceful night out. The park hosts a starlight festival that can only be enjoyed after dark. The festival begins as the sun sets, with lights gradually illuminating the park. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the summit. The trail is short, and you'll pass by various themed exhibits along the way, ensuring you never get bored.
The walking paths of Subong Park create a magical atmosphere with various features such as holograms, laser lights, and media facades. Among the highlights are the Starlight Walk, a forest path where the Milky Way flows; Starry Night, featuring animal shadow media art; and Subong Tower, which glows in five colors. Be sure to stop by the artificial waterfall next to Subong Library in time for the media facade show. Colorful videos depicting natural elements such as space, water, and animals are projected onto the waterfall, creating a dreamy scene.
Throughout the park, including the Garden of Memory at the top, you'll encounter shimmering sculptures of horses, deer, rabbits, crescents, and more, offering fantastic photo opportunities.
