Running is a sport you can enjoy anywhere, but when the place is Incheon, even a brisk run turns into a fun trek.
With mountains, the sea, lakes, and skyscrapers, the entire city becomes a special stage for runners.
As the Incheon Marathon 2025 approaches on November 23, enthusiasm for running is heating up.
Here are four of Incheon’s top running spots that anyone, from novice to seasoned runners, can enjoy.
Run Your Daily Route: Seogot Neighborhood Park (Difficulty: ★☆☆☆)
With aging sections recently renovated for greater comfort, Seogot Neighborhood Park serves as a favorite resting spot for locals.
Situated along the hillside, it offers both an upper walking trail lined with wildflowers and a lower sports field with a circular track.
Each lap around the track is about 250 meters long.
Short in distance, it’s perfect for casual runners to practice controlling their pace.
Running three to four laps covers roughly one kilometer, allowing you to easily check your progress in workout intensity and endurance.
It connects to Incheon Dullegil Course 2 and Seoro Ieumgil Course 4, so you can freely adjust the difficulty.
Starting at Seogot Neighborhood Park and finishing along the Dullegil, this route is good for any workout from easy warm-ups to strenuous training.
Despite its ease of use, the track remains one of Incheon’s best-kept running spots.

At the center of the park lies a 4.5-kilometer circular course that wraps around the lake.
Its long distance offers an excellent workout even with a single lap, and the changing scenery keeps you from getting bored.

With an elevation of only 172 meters, even beginners can take on the challenge without much strain.
* Trail running: running on unpaved paths such as mountains, fields, or grasslands.
Among the trails on Cheongnyangsan Mountain, the Dongchun-dong course is recommended for intermediate to advanced runners.
With its alternating uphill and downhill sections and a route passing through the mountainside outdoor gym, it’s ideal for doing strength or interval training.
