Golden autumn has quietly spread across the mountains, fields, streets, and parks.

Each ginkgo-lined corner of Incheon has its own charm—so come and step into the heart of this brilliant season.
An 800-Year-Old Witness to Time: Jangsu-dong’s Ginkgo Tree at Incheon Grand Park
Incheon Grand Park is the city’s largest park, home to an arboretum, zoo, camping site, and sledding hill.
With direct access from Incheon Subway Line 2’s Incheon Grand Park Station, it’s easy to get to.
On the southern side of the park, where the trail meets the forest, stands the Jangsu-dong ginkgo tree—a magnificent 800-year-old giant that turns into a breathtaking sight every autumn.
You can spot the Jangsu-dong ginkgo tree near the park’s rear gate.
Standing 30 meters tall with a trunk circumference of 8.6 meters, its sheer size is awe-inspiring—and even more impressive is how it has remained perfectly intact for centuries, without a single broken branch.
With its dense, golden leaves, the tree becomes a stunning sight from late October to mid-November.
Beyond the ginkgo tree, the park offers plenty of ways to enjoy autumn.
Spread out a picnic blanket on the open lawn, join one of the forest or woodworking programs, or take a leisurely bike ride around the park to fully embrace the season.
A Stroll Through Autumn: Wonjeoksan Park’s Ginkgo Forest
Autumn at Wonjeoksan Park in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon feels like a scene straight out of a movie.
But it’s the ginkgo forest that truly captures the magic. As you walk along the winding trail, golden leaves swirl in the breeze and fall like gentle rain.
Wooden tables are placed throughout the ginkgo forest.
Spread out your lunch on a table covered with a golden layer of leaves, and it becomes a perfect autumn picnic all on its own.
Many visitors simply stretch out on picnic mats, basking in the gentle warmth of the autumn sun.
The park connects to the Wonjeoksan hiking trail, making it perfect for a light trek in nature.
With basketball and badminton courts, an eco-wetland, and a playground, it’s a favorite spot for families.
Here in the middle of the city, you can pause for a moment, breathe in the fresh air, and let yourself sink into the calm of the season.
A Golden Tunnel in the Heart of the City: Wildflower Complex Dream Park
True to its name, the Wildflower Complex Dream Park feels like something out of a dream.
Once a landfill site for the Seoul metropolitan area, it was reborn in 1999 as a lush green space filled with flowers and trees.
Spanning an area as large as 60 soccer fields, the park changes colors with each season, offering something new to enjoy all year round.
In autumn, the ginkgo-lined path steals the show.
Bathed in sunlight, the trees form a golden tunnel that locals consider one of Incheon’s best photo spots.
Wherever you point your camera, you’ll capture a picture-perfect scene.
The park features themed areas such as the Wetland Trail, Rock Garden, Metasequoia Road, Pink Muhly Garden, and Barefoot Path—making it a lovely place for a leisurely walk surrounded by nature.
In autumn, blooming cosmos, zinnias, and chrysanthemums fill the park with color and a hint of romance.

A Perfect Autumn Walk Where Golden Woods Meet the Sea: Wolmi Park
Centered around Wolmisan Mountain, Wolmi Park is one of Incheon’s most beautifully preserved natural areas.
Set along the slopes facing the West Sea, it offers a stunning panorama where lush forests blend seamlessly with the open horizon.
As you stroll along the trail, you’ll find plenty to enjoy—a protected ginkgo tree, a traditional Korean garden, a wetland, and the Wolmi Cultural Center.
From the Wolmi Observatory at the top of the mountain, you can take in sweeping views of the West Sea and the islands surrounding Incheon Port.
It’s about a 30-minute walk to the top, or just 15 minutes by the shuttle bus, affectionately known as the Seal Car.
Take a ride on the Wolmi Sea Train for one of the best views on the island.
Through the wide windows, golden trees blend into the blue sea, with the Incheondaegyo Bridge stretching softly across the horizon.
