It is a mistake to think that all Jajangmyeon is black. White Jajangmyeon offered in Mandabok in Chinatown is made with noodles, Tianmianjiang(Chunjang), garlic and meat stock. Basic ingredients include chemical seasoning and traditional Chinese Tianmianjiang without food coloring. As such food reserves as ground meat and onions are mixed with white seasoned beans, it looks white and tastes light. Although it tastes a bit different from ordinary Jajangmyeon we often eat, it is considered to be a delicacy worth experiencing.
