It is the first public museum established with an aim to preserve the history, culture and beautiful vestiges of Sorae in Namdong-gu in Incheon. The museum exhibits life customs of fishing villages in Sorae in addition to fishing gear, which enables visitors to understand the tradition of fishing villages as well as life history. It also preserves the origin of Sorae salt farms, a process of producing salt and related tools and reenacts fond memories and romance featuring Suin Line Narrow Gauge Railroad Train to offer tourist attractions.
